Drumming Circles

Friday, May 9th, Jon Crowder of Peak Rhythms, Inc. will teach a class on how to be a drumming circle facilitator. This is open to all so please join us and learn how to facilitate a drumming circle Drums will be provided or you can bring your own.

The class will be from 9:00am to 4:00pm with an hour break at noon for lunch.

It’s recommended that you come to both the morning and afternoon sessions. Since the afternoon session builds on the morning session, if you can only come part of the day, Jon prefers that you come in the morning. Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can make sure we have enough chairs.

Friday, May 9th from 7:30 to 9:00 there will be an open drumming circle for the community.

Watch for a drum making session coming to a site near you. There will be ample opportunities to join a drumming circle during Rail Fest 2008. Watch the blog for the location of the facilitator class, drumming circle and drum making sessions. For more information post a comment below.

I loved the drumming circle. I liked the part when we played together, stomped, and spelled. The druming circle would not have went on with out Ms. Kinnaman and Ms. McKain.
