“Railroad
Training at a Glance” .5 Credit
This one day “Railroad” experience will give
you a glance at several aspects of actual railroad training. In this
interactive course, instructors will present overviews of each featured area of
training. You will encounter the thrill of setting at the controls and hearing
the roar of the engine on Locomotive Simulators. You will have the opportunity
to “classify” (build) a train on the computer generated Remote
Control Simulators. In the Airbrake Mock-Up Lab, instructors will demonstrate
on actual railcar undercarriage braking systems. Feel the thrill, hear the
whoosh of “setting the brakes”.
Class is limited to the first 32 applicants (must be 16
years of age)
Course Fee: $150 per person
Class time: 8 am – 5 pm (Lunch Provided)
